Community Guidelines
We want WeedsFinder to be the best place on the internet for cannabis enthusiasts. These guidelines keep our community safe, respectful, and helpful for everyone.
1. Keep It Respectful
- Treat everyone with respect — no harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.
- Disagreements are fine; being disagreeable is not. Critique ideas, not people.
- No trolling, flaming, or deliberately provoking other members.
- Respect privacy: don't share personal information about others without consent.
2. Stay Legal
- WeedsFinder is for education and community, not for arranging illegal transactions.
- Do not use the platform to buy, sell, or trade cannabis or any controlled substances.
- Follow your local laws — what's legal in one city may not be in another.
- Report suspicious activity; we cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.
3. Protect Privacy
- Be mindful of what you share. Your profile is public by default.
- Don't post your phone number, address, or exact location in public threads.
- Use the city-level location field for community discovery — never your street address.
- Report anyone asking for excessive personal information.
4. Contribute Quality
- Write detailed, helpful strain reviews — mention effects, flavor, and growing tips.
- When discussing laws, cite sources and dates. Laws change fast.
- Use descriptive thread titles. "Durban Poison vs Green Crack for ADHD focus?" beats "question".
- No spam, self-promotion, or affiliate links outside the designated marketplace areas.
- Search before posting — your question may already have an answer.
5. Events & Meetups
- Events must comply with local laws regarding public cannabis consumption.
- 420-friendly venues only — don't organize consumption where it's prohibited.
- Meet in public, safe locations. We recommend coffee shops, parks, or licensed venues.
- Report events that appear to be fronts for illegal activity.
6. Enforcement
- Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ban.
- Repeated or severe violations lead to account termination without warning.
- You can appeal moderation decisions by contacting support.
- Moderators are community members too — treat them with respect.
