WeedsFinder (“we”, “us”) publishes cannabis strain, legal, and educational content. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit the site and how it’s used.

Data we collect

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, device type). This data is pseudonymous and used only to improve the site.
• Account data. If you create an account (via Clerk) to post in the community or save preferences, we store your email address and profile information you provide. We never sell this data.
• Cookies. A small cookie stores your detected country (from your IP) so legal-status content can be localized, and a theme preference (light/dark). No cookie is used for cross-site tracking or advertising.

Data we don’t collect

We do not require an account to browse strains, laws, or guides. We do not sell personal data to third parties or advertisers.

Third-party services

Authentication is handled by Clerk; hosting and edge geolocation by Vercel; analytics by Google Analytics. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Changes

We’ll update the date above if this policy changes materially. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
